​Just like students, there are different levels of teachers and different teaching abilities.

Teachers of different qualifications and experience have different rates / fees.

Junior Teachers

Teachers with less than 3 years of teaching experience

Suitable for :

  • Students exploring their interests

  • Students learning for leisure

​Grade 8 Teachers

Teachers with minimum Grade 8 practical certificate, with at least 3 years of teaching experience

Suitable for :

  • Students exploring interests

  • Students who are keen in pursuing lower grade exams

Diploma Teachers

Teachers with minimum DipABRSM / ATCL / ALCM practical certificate, with at least 3 years of teaching experience

Suitable for :

  • Long term commitment

  • Proper piano progress from basic foundations to Grade 8

  • Students interested in more advanced techniques (Eg: Improvisation, Accompaniment etc.)

Degree Teachers

Teachers with minimum LRSM / LTCL / LCM / Degree in Music or higher, with at least 3 years of teaching experience

Suitable for :

  • Long term commitment

  • Proper piano progress from basic foundations to Diploma

  • Students interested in more advanced techniques (Eg: Improvisation, Accompaniment etc.)

  • Students who aspire to be pianist / teachers as their careers

3 Levels of Diploma

Associate : DipABRSM / ATCL / ALCM

  • Equivalent to 1st year of bachelor degree

Licentiate : LRSM / LTCL / LLCM

  • Equivalent to bachelor degree

Fellowship : FRSM / FTCL / FLCM

  • Equivalent to master's degree
